Welcome to the EmpowerHER Property Ownership Initiative founded and run by 28th Street Agency Director Kerryn Brownson. The program is a unique opportunity for women and single mothers to embark on their journey to property ownership and portfolio building. Being a single mum herself, Kerryn understands the challenges you may face, and she is here to support your dreams of property ownership. The next spot will be opening up in February 2026.
In addition to this, we proudly donate a portion of every deal to Catherine House, an organisation that supports women experiencing homelessness. Together, we’re building a brighter future—one home at a time.
Kerryn’s EmpowerHER Program is designed to empower and support women by providing a complete, done-for-you service to help them acquire their own property and/or build a real estate portfolio, while also offering valuable education and insights to enhance their confidence and understanding throughout the process.
Receive expert advice on property selection, financing options, and investment strategies. She’ll help you find the right property that aligns with your goals.
Once you’ve acquired your property, Kerryn’s mentorship doesn’t end there. She’ll continue to be a trusted resource, ready to answer your questions and offer guidance as you navigate the next steps of property ownership or portfolio growth.
Whether it’s advice on property management, insights on future investment opportunities, or connecting you with trusted professionals like property managers or tradespeople, Kerryn is committed to supporting your long-term success and helping you achieve your broader financial and real estate goals.
Kerryn will assist you in negotiating the best possible deals and represent your interests throughout the buying process.
She’ll work with you to understand your unique circumstances, financial goals, and aspirations. Our experts will assess your eligibility and provide guidance on the path to property ownership.
This program is open to all women and single mothers who are committed to taking the first steps toward property ownership, or want to start building a property portfolio. We’re looking for individuals who are motivated, dedicated, and ready to transform their dreams into reality.
To apply for the EmpowerHER Property Ownership Initiative, please complete our online application form. In your application, tell us about your circumstances, your desire to own property, and your motivation to succeed. We encourage you to share your story and aspirations with us.
If you are chosen to go through to the next round, you must be willing to meet with and go through a pre-approval process with either your own broker or our recommended broker who is part of our specialist team. (We need to ensure you can utilise our services). This is a free service.

$17,000 but FREE for one chosen women.
Kerryn will diligently assess all applications and choose individuals as recipients, taking into account their dedication, drive, and individual situations. The chosen candidates will receive notification through email and a follow-up phone call, after which they will be required to arrange a meeting with either our broker, or their own broker, or proceed if they are already pre-approved. The selected person will be chosen from the people that go through this process.
